Top 3 No Code Website Builders
Jan 2, 2023

Hey everyone 👋
My name is AJ Picard, I’m the founder of ZoZo App! I’m excited for this blog post because I get to share with you all in my opinion the Top 3 No Code Website Builders.
Why should you trust my opinion?
Over the past 5 years I’ve been teaching myself how to design, code & no code. I’ve been able to build 3 Apps & 15+ websites using No Code tools. What I’m trying to say is I have experience with this kind of stuff. Now before I jump in, if you have some free time I’d love for you to check out ZoZo. As a reminder, ZoZo allows you to create Keyboard Shortcuts for the photos, links & files you want to be able to share at any time.
Webflow

Webflow User Interface
Lets be honest, Webflow has everyones hearts… especially designers. Webflow was the first no code tool I started learning and I’ve been in love with it ever since. Fun fact, I actually built ZoZo’s website using Webflow. The biggest benefit that Webflow has over it’s competition is that its user friendly. From the jump its always had a one up on everyone else. Another benefit I think Webflow has is the ability to easily build your website & create custom animations.
Other no code website editors like Wix, Squarespace, Carrd all restrict you.
The last benefit is that Webflow makes it very easy to create a responsive website. I love how you can fully customize the view for each device (Phone, tablet, desktop). Other No Code Website builders either don’t give you the customization / freedom to to shape how you want your website to view on specific devices or they make it hard to create a responsive website.
If you’re looking to build Landing pages or a website to communicate your brand Webflow is the No Code Website builder for you. If you’re looking to create a SaaS product than I would suggest steering away from Webflow. When it comes to adding complex functionality or even authentication on your Website, Webflow is still behind. They are working on these types of features and have begun rolling them out.
Bubble

Bubble User Interface
Fun fact, I used to hate this No Code builder but once they launched their new responsive engine this year I fell in love. Before this responsive engine it was very difficult to create a responsive website which is crucial to your websites success. Now with Bubbles new responsive engine I believe they’re starting to take over more of the market.
Why?
Well, their team continues to make it easier to start designing in Bubble which has always been a huge pin point for their brand. The beauty of Bubble has always been having the freedom to create any thing. Bubble has an extensive backend & logic system that allows you to create complex features, integrate authentication, connect to API’s and more. These are all things Webflow can’t provide you.
With that being said if you’re looking to create your own SaaS, go with Bubble, but I’m warning you it has a huge learning curve. It’s going to take some time to get up to speed with how it works unless you’re already used to working with no code website builders.
Adalo

Adalo User Interface
I think Adalo is the sleeper pick out of the No Code Website builders out there.
Why am I saying this?
Well, Adalo can do everything Bubble can do. The only thing it struggles with is designing & creating a responsive website. I used to put Adalo’s design & responsive engine on the same level as Bubbles but with the improvement on Bubbles end this is no longer the case. Adalo also has a huge learning curve, just like Bubble but once you get the hang of it you can build anything you want.
Now, there’s two things Adalo offers that Bubble & Webflow don’t offer and it’s something you need to consider before you start building your Website.
You can build and launch a mobile app inside of Adalo… without one line of code. I built Women Of Crypto’s App using Adalo, you can check it out below if you don’t believe me. WOC’s App was very complex and packed with a ton of features, the future is bright for Adalo but they need to fix the design / responsive design issues.
You can create a shared database between your website & app. What the hell does this mean? Well this feature is by far the most valuable no code feature I’ve come across. Adalo allows you to create a website & app at the same time that share the same data. This allows you to have a Web App & Mobile app at the same time. No other no code platform offers this feature.
If you’re looking to build a complex web app + mobile app I would go with Adalo.
Final Thoughts
Thank you so much for tuning into my Ted talk. I hope I didn’t bore you. If you’re someone that is interested in getting into the No Code space, I would start designing / building on Webflow. Once you get a hang of Webflow migrate over to Bubble, learn both of these platforms and you become a unicorn No Code Web Dev.
